The cloud is online storage, which means your photos, documents, and data are stored on the internet instead of just on your device. It's useful for backup and accessing your files from different devices. While not essential, it can be a handy tool.

Q: What's the cloud, and do I need it?

It depends on what you're looking for. Facebook is popular for connecting with family and friends, while Instagram is more photo-centric. If you're into professional networking, LinkedIn might be best. Start with one, get comfortable, and then explore others if you wish.

Q: I've heard a lot about social media. Which platform should I start with?

Regular updates are recommended as they often include security improvements and new features. If possible, set your device to update automatically or check for updates once a month.

Use strong, unique passwords for each online account. Be cautious about sharing personal information, especially on social media. Adjust privacy settings on platforms to control who sees your data, and consider using a reputable antivirus program.

Q: I'm worried about my privacy online. How can I protect it?

Yes! There are apps like Kindle or platforms like Audible for audiobooks. You can purchase or borrow digital books and read or listen to them directly on your device.
